SEAGO and a Child on the Spectrum: A Story of Understanding
SEAGO Story Summary: Protecting the Smile of a Child on the Spectrum Through Understanding
This story began when Anne, a mother of an autistic child, reached out to tell us that her son would only accept SEAGO's ultra-soft brush heads.
• The Core Story: Anne's son has autism and experiences sensory sensitivity. He would only use SEAGO's ultra-soft brush heads, as others caused him "sensory overload." When we learned of this situation, we decided to provide her with five additional sets of ultra-soft brush heads, supporting their brushing routine for 15 months.
• Design Philosophy: We explained that our standard brush head pack (containing 2 ultra-soft + 2 daily clean heads) was designed for more comprehensive oral care, while fully acknowledging that special needs sometimes require tailored solutions.
• Deeper Meaning: Anne hoped sharing this story would help raise awareness about autism and sensory issues. We want to tell all families facing similar challenges: You are not alone, and your needs deserve to be seen and understood.
• Brand Commitment: This isn't just about toothbrushes - it's about understanding, inclusion, and gently protecting every unique smile.
